Thanks to Pacesetter Corp. and their attempted legal action to shut down this site, we have now started asking each author to swear, under penalty of perjury, that everything stated in their story is true. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to contact this author. However, because this story is in no way presenting any alleged facts about the company, we could not find any justification for removing it. Also, someone seems to have posted this story on the misc.consumers.house newsgroup, so it can be read there as well.

Just thought you might like to see that your web page does do some good. After reading it, both the wife and I are running from pacesetter. Luckily, I am over 6'4 300lbs, so when I said I would not sign the contact (forcefully) they did not pursue it further. thanks again for the info....

Good morning, today (4/18) we had two of your sales reps out to our house to give an estimate on replacing our windows. While the gentlemen that were here were both knowledgeable and professional, we will not be contracting with the Pacesetter corp. for this remodel. Please remove our name from your contact list and do not attempt to contact us further. After researching your company online we have read, to say the least, very concerning issues. While I can not pass judgment on the company as a whole, we do not feel comfortable with the past practices of pacesetter. Thank you for the time of your sales force.
